Quick answer
Type in the box, then press Copy beside a style. The result is ordinary Unicode text, so it pastes into Instagram, TikTok, X, Discord, WhatsApp and most games without any app or font install.
How โfontsโ can be copied and pasted
Social apps do not let you change their font, so the generator does something else: it swaps each letter for a different Unicode character that happens to look styled. ๐ is not a bold A; it is MATHEMATICAL BOLD CAPITAL A, code point U+1D400, a separate character created so mathematicians could write bold variables in plain text. Because the output is text, not formatting, it survives copy and paste into any app that accepts Unicode.
Most styles come from the Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols block (U+1D400 to U+1D7FF, added in Unicode 3.1 in 2001). Others borrow circled letters from Enclosed Alphanumerics, full-width letters from East Asian typography, phonetic letters for small caps, or combining marks for strikethrough and glitch effects.
What the labels mean
Works everywhere means every letter of the alphabet has a character and every current phone and computer ships a font for it. Works on most devices means the characters exist but a few older Android phones or smart TVs may show boxes. Some letters missing means Unicode simply has no version of certain letters in that style (there is no subscript b, for example), so those letters are left as normal text.
Before you paste: three honest caveats
- Screen readers struggle. VoiceOver may read ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐จ as โmathematical bold capital H, mathematical bold small eโฆโ, and some readers skip it entirely. Keep important information such as your name or a price in plain text.
- Search cannot find it. People searching for โhelloโ will not match ๐ฑ๐ฎ๐ต๐ต๐ธ, so avoid styled text in product names, hashtags and anything you want to be discovered by.
- Usernames usually reject it. Instagram and Discord usernames only allow basic Latin letters, numbers and a few punctuation marks. Display names, bios, captions and messages accept it.

Frequently asked questions
Is it safe to use fancy text generators?
Yes. The generator runs in your browser and only swaps characters; nothing is uploaded and no app or keyboard is installed. The text you copy is plain Unicode.
Why do some letters show as boxes?
The device reading your text has no font for that character. It happens most with the newest styles on old Android phones or TVs. Styles marked โWorks everywhereโ avoid the problem.
Can I use fancy text in my Instagram username?
No. Instagram usernames only accept letters, numbers, periods and underscores. Put the styled text in your Name field or bio instead.
Are these real fonts?
No. They are separate Unicode characters that look like styled letters, which is why they survive copy and paste where real fonts would not.
Why does fancy text look different on my friendโs phone?
Each platform draws the characters with its own font, so a cursive ๐ on an iPhone looks slightly different from the same character on Android or Windows.
