How the generator builds a name
Pick a letter style from the menu (plain, bold cursive, Gothic, small caps, double-struck and more), then choose one of the decorated versions. Press Shuffle to reorder the designs. Each design is a frame of real Unicode characters around your name, so it copies and pastes like normal text.
Where the decorations come from
Stylish names borrow from many scripts. ꧁ and ꧂ are Javanese rerenggan marks (U+A9C1 and U+A9C2) that open and close poetic text. 彡 is a CJK character meaning “hair ornament” or “streaks”, used for its speed-line look. ツ is the Japanese katakana tsu, loved because it looks like a smiling face. 『 』 and 【 】 are East Asian quotation and lenticular brackets. 亗, 乂 and 么 are Chinese characters chosen for their sharp shapes, and ☬ is the Sikh Khanda. Knowing this helps: in a game popular in Asia, a character with a real meaning can read very differently to other players.
Making sure the name fits
Games and apps count characters differently. Some count each code point, some count UTF-16 units (so 𝓐 counts as two), and many reject characters outside certain scripts entirely. Check the count shown next to each result against the limit in your game, and test in a name-preview screen before spending a paid rename card. If a symbol is rejected, try a design built from simpler characters such as ★, ♛ or 【 】.
