Using the symbols and tools
Unicode characters are part of an open standard and are not owned by SymbolHub. You may copy and use any symbol, and any text produced by our tools, for personal or commercial purposes without asking. You may not copy the site's written content, design or code in bulk, or republish it as your own.
Accuracy
We work hard to keep every shortcut and code correct, and we publish our editorial policy. Keyboards, apps and fonts vary, though, and they change over time. The site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. Check critical uses, such as legal notices or medical labels, against the relevant official source.
Legal and trademark symbols
Pages about ©, ® and ™ explain common usage but are not legal advice. In many countries it is unlawful to use ® for a mark that is not registered. Ask a qualified professional about your situation.
Fancy text
Fancy text uses mathematical and other Unicode characters, not real fonts. It can be hard to read for screen reader users and may not be searchable. Use it sparingly, and never for essential information.
Links and ads
SymbolHub links to other websites and shows third-party ads. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.
